Are behind in rent
Need move-in assistance to move
Need help paying a late utility bill
Need assistance locating a new housing unit
Are seeking shelter for your family with minor children
Are a Veteran seeking shelter
The HLA assists individuals who are currently experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness. Unfortunately, the HLA does not have access to motel funds.
Emergency Housing Vouchers (EHV) are managed through a direct referral process. Therefore, all referrals for an EHV must come directly from the Continuum of Care (CoC) through its Coordinated Entry Process. Please reach out to your point-of-contact if you are currently working with an Eviction Diversion, Rapid Rehousing, or Permanent Supportive Housing program. They can screen you for eligibility.
An HLA staff member will reach out within 48 hours. However, keep in mind that due to high volume, HLA will be unable to reach out if your current situation does not meet HLA's criteria for eligibility.
