Pinellas County Cold Night Shelters

Cold Night Shelters are pop-up shelters operating through Pinellas County when the "feels like" temperate dips below 40-degrees between November 15th and March 15th.

The Homeless Leadership Alliance of Pinellas (HLA) is pleased to announce an important Cold Night Shelter collaboration with the Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority (PSTA)

In an effort to enhance accessibility for our community's most vulnerable residents, PSTA will be providing free rides to and from Cold Night Shelters on the night of Saturday, January 20th and the morning of Sunday, January 21st. This initiative aims to ensure the safety and well-being of all Pinellas County residents, particularly during colder nights.

Beginning at 5:00pm on Saturday, January 20th through 7:00am on Sunday, January 21st, PSTA Riders simply need to tell Drivers that they are heading to or from a Cold Night Shelter, and the ride will be provided at no cost.
